The Morris High School gym was in need of some maintence and replacement work on it's floor's sleepers. These wood strips do quite a bit of work in keeping the floor level, warm, and dry. We fixed sleepers that needed help and laid a new floor on top.
The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point has a new addition to its Champion Hall Fitness Center. Originally built in 1968, the fitness center is open to all students on campus. This year, they will enjoy a new athletic wood floor in the facility.
A project 10 years in the making came to life at the Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area in Ripon, WI. This 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility not only has a skilled trades shop and teen employment area, kids will also get to experience the wood flooring and a new gym. Prostar is proud to serve Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the midwest.
Laconia High School in east central Wisconsin started the 2025-2026 school year off with some refreshed gym floors. One gym had a complete floor replacement, while Prostar's crews resanded, recoated, and relined the second gym. The results are beautiful! See them for yourself!
In 2021, Prostar's experts carefully designed and placed a new, 5,200 sq. ft. maple floor at the Chicago Field Museum for its new Native American exhibit. The maple wood came from one of our preferred partners, Menominee Tribal Enterprises (MTE).
In late August of 2025, a group of Samoans arrived at the museum to help with artifacts in the exhibit, like a canoe which is an original piece from the Samoan Islands. Through a series of museum acquisitions, the Chicago Field Museum took possession of it, adding it to the exhibit set to open in April of 2026.
