Hardwood Flooring

A building that once was home to a ShopKo retail store will soon be a new multi-use athletic facility. The NX Level Facility will have basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts, along with a 5,300 sq.ft. workout facility, and a more than 25,000 sq. ft. turf field for football. Right now, our crews are working on the main gym. Stay tuned for the progress!

When the Warner Park Community Center started to see an increased need for services and event space, it decided an addition was the answer. A new 12,000 sq. ft. addition is nearly complete. It includes a second gym, updated locker rooms, and more event space for the public to use. The grand opening is expected in early 2026.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School recently added a nearly 23,000 sq. ft. addition onto its school. Part of that addition was a new gymnasium and workout center. Prostar's crews laid a new wood floor in the gymnasium, then added logos and lines. 

Some of the sleepers in the gym at Morrison High School in Morris, IL needed to be fixed or replaced. Our team came in, removed the existing floor, and fixed the sleepers, the strips of wood laid on top of a subfloor to which the hardwood floor is attached. The end result is a beautiful, level gym floor. 

A high school in east central Wisconsin is enjoying not one but two refreshed gym areas. Prostar's installation experts laid a brand-new, 10,500 sq. ft. maple gym floor in one gym, and resanded and recoated more than 9,400 sq. ft. of another gym's floor.

The Champion Hall Fitness Center at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is 75,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art fitness facility open to all students and staff with memberships at the school. Our flooring experts laid a fitness wood floor in the addition to the facility. 

Hammond Sportsplex is in northern Indiana. It's a 135,000 sq. ft. facility that is currently undergoing a major $10M addition. The facility is creating buildings for volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams so they have their own place to practice and hold tournaments and league teams.Our team is laying a new wood gym floor and Infilled Synthetic Turf System.

Sports teams that play in multi-use facilities like the Oshkosh Arena or Fiserv Form require special floors that work a lot like a jigsaw puzzle. Pieces are connected together to form one solid floor. This is a very skilled process to make sure the floor is perfectly even and no pieces pop up or sink down at the connection points.
