Hardwood Flooring

The Glenbard 87 School District in Glen Ellyn, IL consists of four high schools. Prostar's expert flooring crews laid a new hardwood gym floor in South High School. Glenbard North and East High Schools both have newly-sanded and sealed floors.

The old vinyl floor at Tiffany Creek Elementary school in Boyceville is gone. Our crews are laying down resilient flooring and maple hardwood in its place. This 6,900 sq. ft. project is going to look beautiful when it's done. Be sure to check back!

Prostar crews are removing the old 12,500 sq. ft. gym at Ashland High School to make way for a gorgeous new gym floor. A new floor is more than an aestetic change. It's a safety improvement for student athletes. The product used on this project is specifically designed to give consistent shock absorption.

What used to be a Boys and Girls Club in the 1960s is now home to the Hilltopp Community Center in Beloit. Renovations are underway to not only update the facility but to do so while preserving the historical nature of the building. Prostar's expert installers worked on two gyms, installing brand-new flooring that can be enjoyed for years to come.

A building that once was home to a ShopKo retail store will soon be a new multi-use athletic facility. The NX Level Facility will have basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts, along with a 5,300 sq.ft. workout facility, and a more than 25,000 sq. ft. turf field for football. Right now, our crews are working on the main gym. Stay tuned for the progress!

When the Warner Park Community Center started to see an increased need for services and event space, it decided an addition was the answer. A new 12,000 sq. ft. addition is nearly complete. It includes a second gym, updated locker rooms, and more event space for the public to use. The grand opening is expected in early 2026.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School recently added a nearly 23,000 sq. ft. addition onto its school. Part of that addition was a new gymnasium and workout center. Prostar's crews laid a new wood floor in the gymnasium, then added logos and lines. 

Some of the sleepers in the gym at Morrison High School in Morris, IL needed to be fixed or replaced. Our team came in, removed the existing floor, and fixed the sleepers, the strips of wood laid on top of a subfloor to which the hardwood floor is attached. The end result is a beautiful, level gym floor.
