Located in far southwest Wisconsin, Sinsinawa Mound is home to the Dominican Sisters. Prostar has just completed finishing the floors in St. Clara Chapel, the gift shop, and the reception area. The sisters are doing major renovations at the facility with the intent of creating a retreat and conference center on the property, while preserving the 175 years of history the property holds.
Originally built in 1916, LeClaire Hall, now Higgins Hall on the St. Ambrose University campus in Davenport, IA, underwent a spectacular renovation. Housing the country's oldest indoor track, our crews maticulously removed each board, then restored and replaced it. The building now houses the College of Health and Human Services. The track runs through offices and conference rooms, preserving a piece of cherished history.
The Old Main building at the National Soldiers Home is a living quarters of the first veteran's home in Wisconsin. It's located on the Veterans Affairs grounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Originally built in 1869, it's on the National Register of Historic Places. Prostar's team helped renovate and restore flooring in the nearly 117,000 sq. ft. building.
